Researchers bring very different approaches to the definition and classification of prepositions, and the problem is that they specify the meaning relations of prepositions through stereotyped expressions rather than the context in which they are used in the text.
The selection of the study from Babur Shah's Babur-nâme, which belongs to the Chagatai Turkish period, written in prose and has autobiographical features, is due to the richness of the work in terms of inflectional prepositions in the “+GA/DIn ” structure and the types of relations established by these prepositions. The main purpose of the study is to reveal the types of relations that inflectional prepositions establish between the elements of the text based on the problem of expressing prepositions through stereotyped expressions. The other aim is to identify the types of semantic relations arising from the differences in the use of inflectional prepositions in the same structure.
