The purpose of this study is to examine four animated films selected from MEB's "16 Animated Films Every Child Should Watch" in terms of root values and intended messages. Document review, one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the study. “Moana, Furry Fugitive, Puloi: You Will Never Fly Alone, and Ratatouille” animations were examined in terms of values and messages. Content analysis was used to analyze the data. A total of 80 values and messages were determined in the animations. The frequencies of values and messages were examined and it was seen that cultural values were mentioned the most. The values and frequencies in the animations are presented in the form of tables. In general, it can be stated that animations have an important place in teaching values. Animation etc. It can be said that more value should be emphasized in the content.
