Classical Turkish literature is a rich literature with its references, tradition and accumulation. In the interpretation of the meaning world of texts that lead to the richness of this literature, the need for knowledge of literary genre and style stands out. Achieving knowledge of what the author describes (genre) and how he describes (style) in the text when interpreting the text provides great convenience in determining the literary taste of the period and the author's opinion.
There are 20 qasids, 36 musammats, 1 mustezad, 487 ghazals and 7 continents in the Hayreti Dîvan, The number of species identified in the work, which contains a large number of genres and styles, is 8. The genre are “bahâriye, maktel-i hüseyin/muharremiye, mersiye, naat, nevrûziye, sâkînâme, şehrengiz and tevhit”s. The number of styles is 15. The styles are “arzıhâl/arzuhâl, bedduâ, duânâme/niyâznâme/ibtihâl, fahriye/fahriye-i ârifâne, firâknâme, hasbihâl, methiye/sitâyişnâme, mezemmet, nasihatnâme, şefâatnâme, şikâyetnâme, tarif, tasvir tazallüm ve tehlil”s. It is believed that this work is important in terms of contributing to the interpretation of the text of classical Turkish literature, as well as determining the literary personality of the poet.
