As a literary genre, the radio play is a narrative genre based on sound and hearing, which, unlike traditional theater, appeals to the listener rather than the audience, and does not require crowds for its representation. This genre, whose new examples and representations are not frequently encountered with the developing technology and changing interests, managed to maintain its popularity from the forties to the end of the nineties in the history of Turkish literature and radio broadcasting. One of the radio playwrights, Üner ULUTUĞ, who examines the individual and society in a realistic language by observing life, becomes one of the most successful representatives of this genre with his various works. The author encouraged his people to the liberation struggle with the radio play "Kuzeyden Gelen Kartal" about the Cyprus Peace Operation, which has left deep traces in recent history due to its time to produce and being Cypriot. The idea of analyzing ULUTUĞ's work in terms of structure and meaning; Interpreting the historical reality of the period from a different point of view is important in terms of determining the writer's ability in playwriting and reminding the radio play as a narrative genre that has sunk into oblivion.
