Saim Sakaoğlu, who was born in Konya in 1939, completed his undergraduate education at the Department of Turkish Language and Literature at the Faculty of Literature of Istanbul University. Between1967-1988, he held academic positions at Atatürk University from assistant to associate professor. Between 1988-2006 years, he took part in academic and administrative positions as a professor at Selçuk University. Prof. Dr. Saim Sakaoğlu has 67 books, over 2000 articles, etc. In academic life, he supervised 29 graduate students and 17 doctoral students. Being a member of many national and international institutions and organizations related to his field, Prof. Dr. Saim Sakaoğlu is married and has two children.
