Written publications related to the old Turkish language have a special place and importance in the enlightenment of many situations and in obtaining information about Turkish history, Turkish life, Turkish mentality, etc.

One of the important sources about this period of the Turkish language is the Bilge Tonyukuk Inscriptions. The Bilge Tonyukuk Inscriptions are valuable resource on which many types of research and publications have been made. The last, comprehensive, and valuable study on the Bilge Tonyukuk Inscriptions is Cengiz Alyılmaz’s Bilge Tonyukuk Inscriptions, published by the Turkish Language Association (TDK) in the last days of December 2021.

In the work, the old Turkish inscriptions and the studies about them, who is the Bilge Tonyukuk, and the Bilge Tonyukuk Inscriptions are discussed in detail by using prorisovkas, drawings, special fonts, and the index and proper names index.
