Reading is one of the four basic skills in human life. In acquiring the habit of reading books, it is important that the books are suitable for children's age levels. In this context, it is necessary to determine the readability levels of children's literature works. In this direction, in this study, Hasan Kallimci's children's books named Balasagunlu Yusuf, Bilgin Şehzade, Anadolu’dan Yükselen Ses were examined in terms of readability. The descriptive survey model was preferred in the study, and the data of the study were obtained through document analysis, which is one of the qualitative data collection tools. The analyzed children's books were analyzed according to the readability formulas of Ateşman (1997) and Çetinkaya-Uzun (2010). It was determined that the analyzed books were at an easy-to-read level according to Ateşman (1997) formula and at the 8th and 9th grade level according to Çetinkaya-Uzun (2010) formula. In the Turkish lesson, it is aimed for students to reach language pleasure by enriching their vocabulary based on what they read, and it has been concluded that the works examined in this direction can be used.
