Old Uyghur Law Documents are documents containing a lot of information about the old Uyghur social, cultural and commercial life created in Turfan and its surroundings. Documents classified as texts written on non-religious topics within the corpus written / translated in Old Uyghur Turkish are among the most interesting documents for linguistic studies.
The purpose of this study is to present the specified phrases evaluated under the heading “Conceptual Relationships” in the doctoral thesis titled “The Syntax of Old Uyghur Law Documents.” It has been determined that possessive constructions, which consist of two separate structures, namely definite nouns and definite adjectives, establish a special and provisional relationship between the modifier and the defined. Document analysis was used to reach the findings.
It has been concluded that in the formation of definite possessive compound which use the modifier and defined suffixes without markers, in the construction of definite adjectival construction, demonstrative, possessive, interrogative, numerical, indefinite adjectives and the definite participle are used.
